    my .02 clean up the trunks first ie remove all small branches first, so you can see the tension better :) and less of a chance of tripping or getting whacked in the head

    Cobleskill the two green bottles you see are 1.5L grolsch beer bottles and because of their tops or caps they make great refillable bottles for home brewers :)

    first time using an alaskan mill, just wanting to show off haha and looking for any tips or tricks :) log was on the ground so I ended up sucking up a lot of exhaust, which was less than ideal. do any of you use a mask? if so what filters are best? thanks -zayen

    on a side note, maybe you know, some tree types can be every detrimental to garden health. once know a lady who mulched her garden with cedar chips, not much would grow after that.

    I would suggest building a screening deck to separate the chips by size, one small enough to use atm and the rest through in a pile to rot for a few years first.

    Impressive to say the least ! I too, am wondering this, by watching the video over it looks like the lines were more dynamic then a standard bull line... were they climbing lines perhaps? I am thinking the extra stretch would help "absorb" some of the difference and help with the shock load...
