    How'd it go today?

I agree that the bucket is not the best tool in a lot of situations. I like the spider lifts but boss doesn’t so we stay in the Stone Age. I debated climbing it but years have taught me that the risk involved doesn’t need to be there. To much could go wrong given the situation. Even out of the...

    How'd it go today?

Yup. Had to hop scotch about 12 to get to the last tree. Sucked and it never quit raining. Some JB tank weld got us up and running again

    How'd it go today?

Stupid gas chipper won’t start in the rain. Known distributor issue but you shouldn’t need to put a new one on every damn week. And after putting down 50 mats and 30 sheets of plywood a sheet popped up and gashed a hole in the def tank on the bucket truck. At least it’s only raining steadily and...

Some of yesterdays storm work More today but nothing crazy. How come every day when we shut down to eat lunch, every person in the neighborhood decides that the time to mow their lawn.🤬 A few moments of peace and quiet is all I want

    How'd it go today?

Even when it doesn’t matter what we tear up I use mats. I hate getting trucks and equipment stuck. I skipped the mats today to save time but we are removing 85 white pines that were planted in 1977. Most of the mini work stays inside the clearing area. Need the bucket for about a dozen so I went...

    Exercise

Not really sure. It started right after I went to heavier kettlebell swings. I backed way off and it persisted. The massage therapist has helped a lot. Numbness went away after the first session as did most of my pain/pressure in my hip/back. Today she said I was much less tense. Tonight I...

    Exercise

I’ve done a full set of BSU and it is a challenge. Have you tried any of the “wellerman” sets? I’ve yet to attempt them because I’d need to take time to memorize the choreography of them. I’ll admit that I’ve been slacking as of late. Been having some lower back or hip issues have caused a...

    How'd it go today?

Went to work, flopped some trees, climbed a few dead trees, and went home. Then to a softball game and then back home to weed whack the creek bank. Finished up just in time to get rained on. Ate some dinner and now I need to shower.

    How'd it go today?

Want down to the camping property to scope things out before the upcoming holiday weekend. Lots of storm damage but not to bad. Needs mowed but it seems to remain everyday now whether we need it or not. I went on a walk about and ended up filling a grocery bag with morel mushrooms. Also ran into...

    How'd it go today?

Guess we lost a bobcat today🤬. I don’t have a clue what the boneheads did. This was at one of our dumping and mulch yards we own. The neighbor sent me the pic. He wasted a fire extinguisher while our guy called the fire department. Probably means we have to get a new skid steer before I get a...

Though it’s not popular with some members here, I climb SRT with spurs a lot. This includes rope walking. @WoodCutr anything on treetards is meant to be a joke.

Not sure. I don’t use the wrench enough to really know. I’ve got at least three wrenches and probably five different tethers. I just didn’t feel like digging for my rope runner today.

Finally used the reon rounds tether I bought years ago. It was ok. Decent sized pin oak that had large dead and suffered storm damage. Sealed the large wounds.
