Today I cut down an ash tree that is infested with Chalara fraxinea. Ash drying affects trunks, branches and leaves, causing bark necrosis and premature drying of tree tops. The disease is spread through planting plants, seeds and wood of the genus Fraxinus sp.
I have a new trophy.
If a tree grows at a very steep angle, the trunk shape is not perfectly round.)Here is a typical example... P.S. It is very convenient to count annual rings.)
I don't know how you handle road closures, but here it takes two weeks to get permission from the traffic police. A two-week wait is unacceptable to me!)
Today, among the other trees I felled, there was an unremarkable birch. The surprise was waiting for me at the very end, when I made the final cut, right at the ground! (It's always a surprise!) And, as always, it turned out to be a new chain!
Today I had to cut down, among other trees, a dangerous linden tree. If bracing had been laid correctly, this tree would have stood for another hundred years.
What a cool thing! When I grow up, I'll definitely buy myself one like this!) What is the power of this device? Judging by the color, it's a Viking (green Stihl)?
