That thing is a beast. I was amazed how quick he moved the logs to the road. I can work the logs up easily as he moves them for load out...great for a dude who is only 10 weeks after a total knee replacement! The track grousers tear the crap out of the road so we'll have some smoothing to do...

Someone just cut the tree down towards the road and took the top portion. Left the 35 foot butt log. I was surprised it wasn't poached long ago but it was pretty well hidden in the brush.

The guy that hacked that tree down apparently ages ago, he gutted the hinge nicely but I wonder if the Dutchman was intentional or not, or perhaps it was unintentional but he spotted it and decided it was inconsequential so he didn't bother correcting it by opening the face

This log was a salvage that I found. Really nice log with minimal heart rot.
