    Hunting 2015

Nice Jim. I may just take you up on that. With my life as of late, you may be old and gray, but I'll give it a shot. My Bro has been doing very well with cats this yr in CO. I don't quite get it, but apparently they have a population problem.

You're right in the thick of it Jim. I think this notion of peaceful slaughter come more from the people closest to the coasts. One of my favorite things to do during season is to walk into the local Espresso shop in full camo after a hunt. People turn inside out. When I'm in Upstate NY or CO...

    Helmet comms

Don't overtighten Wally, they tend to lose a channel or are intermittent.

Planting Trees...do you also hate it?

15 Gal tree=tree cost + $350-$500 depending on species. That also includes 8 days of babysitting over two months.

    I ate the label again!

I remember eating a can of fried potato strips after church one Sunday while my folks were in getting some groceries. It didn't bother me that they were on the back dash of our 67 Pontiac. Ended up being my dad and uncle Jeffs dried up worms from the weekend before. Damn fishermen, never feed...

    Wood Turning

I went back to upstate NY for the holiday for a well deserved deer hunt and home cooked meal. Thanks Mom. After dinner, my seven yr old son went out to Gramma's shop. After about thirty minutes, he returned and gave this to his five yr old sister. I am a proud man and he is going to be a great...

Excellent Jim. I did the same with my dads model 870 shotgun. It was a nice gun before his teenaged sin beat the hell out of it in the marsh slaying ducks. When I turned thirty I gave his fully restored gun back. Emotional indeed.

    BTS Hauler.

We did a nice job Fri that was all down hill 100-150'. With the new chipper and winch and this cart, what I bid fir two days, we did in three hrs. Forethought is king in certain situations. The cart comes completely apart. It can be a wheeled axle or a short cart or a long cart or a long cart...

    O.C.G.D. Thread, part two

Cory, my buddy has a 1590 with a 175 horse and it does excellent with logs. When it come to brush, it seems to struggle to get the chips to the front of the truck, if in the truck at all. The rotating mass of the disc really tears it apart IMO, and the paddles make damn sure the chips hit the...
