    Rule Number One (Climber Down)

In my opinion rule number one as a climber is always two points of tie in. Ddrt or SRT it doesn't matter, you need to be tied in twice to save your ass in the event of an accident. This past wed, one of newest members, Jimmy Stoddard (who has yet to post), cut his down line on a basal anchor...

    TreeStuff.Com!!!

I figured that B. My point was, that they are far above the status quo. Remember they just made a Huge expansion to help provide more for everybody. With that, comes new faces and there are certainly going to be those that don't know it all or were put in a position that they weren't hired to...

    TreeStuff.Com!!!

I haven't had an issue with my orders through Treestuff at all. I am a professional and I research the products I buy long before a purchase. I learned long ago, that people on the other end of the line probably aren't as knowledgable as me about what I'm ordering. Missing items, I'd be miffed...

    Employees Climbing Gear

I climb, so it's my gear. If I hired a climber tomorrow, I would inspect what he brought to the table. I would then make a list of what he needs to buy and offer to help, maybe 40%, purchase what I require. Now if this candidate already worked for me and I just payed for his EHAP training, then...

To pay, or not to pay

I'd give the option of day pay and they pay for the class, or pay for the class. Either way you win as its a write off, or just payroll. Can you re class your payroll? As in class time doesn't have the same liability as tree work from a WC standpoint?

    Electric climbing top-handle saws...

I was told the torque is the killer on the chaps. I have yet to test it, as I won't waste a set of chaps that I've bought. My stihl 160 is the chipper saw and a definite keeper. I wish the 200 was available then. Either way, I am happy with both that I've purchased. They are not a petrol...

    Electric climbing top-handle saws...

I've had the Husky for about a yr? I don't use it as much as I thought after my neck fusion, but do use it often. That being said, I am happy with its performance considering it is a first generation Batt op saw. Have two batteries as continuos run time is about 40-45 min. Don't make a slip up...

Logging job on Western Ma Craigslist.

In a thirty second Google search of that number, it looks as though they are selling a bunch of equipment. Could mean new equipment coming or something else. No business listing, but out of Leominster. I've got friends in Fitchburg and through Westminster out to Northfield. I'll ask around this...
