    Best Biner for Lanyard

I like the positioner better then a hitch , its more compact and has instant grab , good when you need to get up close to a stem. it takes a bit of practise but when you get it sorted its as smooth as butter. Its good for single leg config aswell.

    craning it up in heidelberg

5 months on and using it nearly everyday , it has been flawless , but.. obvioulsly its still early days. logging is a different ball game when it comes to saw hours (as you know) so i can't say stig. ........... but, what i will say is that the 661 is so stupidly efficient in the tree, the...

60 Years Old and Still Foot Locking?!

There will be an open ascent coming soon , maybe as early as next year for the competitions. I like footlocking but for access I use srt as its just more ergonomic .I think its a good thing to learn but as a sustainable means of access I don't really think so , I do a bit of training about a...

I like the power so i don't really mind it so much, but to be honest mate I have a super light bar on it and that balances the saw perfectly , it also makes it a pretty reasonable weight . Yessir , it's the epple hook . gods gift to tree surgery , I'm still amazed at what I can do with that...

    craning it up in heidelberg

Yeah all the good shots always seem to get missed a , it can really be frustrating . As for editing , my motivation is usually the fact I can sit down for a couple of hours undisturbed, drinking a couple of nice pilsners :drunk: I just use iMovie , and have only just grasped the bare basics of...

DdRT and SRT, the best of both worlds

I use this a couple of times a month id say , generally I keep a length of hrc with a pinto on my harness all the time as it can be used for redirects ( srt and dbrt )as well as a second system. When its useful it can be really damn useful.

the other saw was the new 661, she's a beast I tell ya and also 460. The 661 has a 28 inch bar and the 460 a 20 . They are both really decent saws and to be fair i prefer the 661 to the 660. Cheers Gerry I appreciate it .

seek opinions on slings w fat rings for lowering

you're also getting a nice amount of friction in the system , i'm yet to try them but i often natural crotch skinny anchor points or use natural redirects to take a bit of force off the main anchor. those rings are pretty tough from what I have seen and heard..... not to mention light. if you...

Hey cory , its a pinto rig spacer , it stops the gunk running down your arms when its a wet day and also helps out with the burning . I tried it out for a few months but found that it takes to much feel out of the prussic. with ten mm you don't need it but i think with 8 it would defiantly be...
