This stem shot shows how low a couple of the leaders are. We will, over time, remove the remaining low attached stem. Maybe next year. She kind of likes how it shades the wall as does her pooch.
Pruned these Palo Verde last year. I remember being asked if I had hit them too hard.

Pruned and cabled this tree 4+ years ago. Got to take some pictures of growth, compartmentalization of some of the cuts. I need to take a closer look to see it the bolted limbs are starting to graft.

I wish I had the earlier pictures of this one. Nice little tree that the builder/seller told the new homeowner needed removed. I convinced him other wise.

My concern is for the larger horizontal limbs failing under load. So I may (or shall I say I am going to attempt) talk her into some support under them. She is at a lower elevation than I but occasionally they can recieive a heavy wet snow load.
This old friend saddened me today. Lady HO has hooked up with a boy friend that loves the ride on lawn mower. Both are getting up in years, so maintenance is an issue when it comes to fire safety. However, I just feel somethings need left alone to some point of minimalist.

Some of it is keeping up with the Joneses. I did an install for a neighbor, they lijed my work. They consider drilling holes invasive. The tree IMO will do better with our mono winds and snow with a more dynamic system like installed. Allow it to move some.
We'll see how it all pans out.
