Lol, maybe I'll take your chains if you ship 'em for free.:D
Ok the chain that's losing cutting edge would not be as fast, but they're not run like that for long because I find teeth start breaking off.
BUT!!!
Right down to just before that point I have no problem keeping a chain sharp like...
No problemo. Until you start losing cutter width why shouldn't it cut as well as new? If it's sharpened properly and your rakers are the correct height why would you think it's not going to cut as well?
Now once you're down so far that the teeth are breaking off of course you're gonna lose...
I hear ya I was just chuckling cause the chain that's on it is basically done but I keep going 'just one or two more file strokes will keep it going'. Generally when teeth are breaking off I throw them out.
Lol used and abused. I should get a pic of the chain that's on it right now, it's only missing a few teeth so far. Filed right back so the teeth are no longer full width. I'm a cheapskate when it comes to chains.
Yah I will say both of my ehp saws have really turned on now that they're broke in. I'm very impressed, one way or another I'll not be running stock saws anymore. I do like your muffler mod on the 361.
Great saw, great muffler mod my ehp one looks basically completely stock from the outside I like the big pipe on yours :D. Butttt I thought you was a westcoaster, no wrap around handle?:P
Everything has arrived now safe and sound and just as Gary had described(of course). 8)
Thanks for getting everything off and packaging it all up so well. A pleasure doing business with ya. Tomorrow my day is shot wrenching but it'll be going into the line-up for Friday.:D
