I actually want one more bucket.. a 34" for going through small gates with. Buckets make clean up a snap in the fields we work in.
We are so lucky not having a lot of lawns like what some of you guys in here deal with.
Working on getting a grapple for the Dingo. Should have one by Christmas if the rest of the kit settles down from breakage. Should work a treat.
Selling a ton of work. Not scheduled out as much as I normally am. But enough to keep us hopping for some weeks.
Some here have mentioned how "cheap" our services are comparatively. When Dave was here, he seemed almost frustrated with our pricing.
Well here ya go! Upper right corner, front page.
Biz is nutz..
Got the taxes done and hardly owe shat. That felt good. Money that was billed out December rolled in just in time to pay stuff that always comes due about then. That again, felt good. Insurance companies and wild fire policies have really been making us money this year. Tree work...
Landed an insurance inspection clearing job today. I don't agree with the ethics of the inspection requirements. I don't particularly like insurance companies. But they sure can generate work when times are tight. This women I went to see today was going to incur an additional 2500.00 per year...
Well, wrong name.. Yeah.. the genie. Would have been a good platform to work it from. Figure scraping then painting. Would have sucked on a rope to do. And I doubt I would trust being tied off on a wooden cross that has been up in the air for a while in these parts :|::lol:
Just thought it would have been a good job for the spyder. I passed on it. My thought was it was probably a job you would have taken right up with the equipment you have.
I referred it out to a local guy.
But yeah... You in general I guess, but nuttin to get sentimental about...
I was actually thinking of you the other day Carl for an odd job I was offered. Spyder lift would have been perfect for it. Painting a cross on a church steeple.
Looks like we have some rain on the way... May make for more burning weather and tree concerns. See if the phone rings in the next couple of days. Ran into my customer that works in Alaska. He wants some weeds down... It's fuggin October dude! Well.... I did get to take down his locust and...
About 1/2 of my December is booked. But most the bookings are weather and burn day dependent. So I can't say it is solid. I still need to get some plan B back up work lined up to fill in any holes that can happen...
On a good note from yesterday............. Jeez Paul :(
Where was I.....?
Ah yes... My client yesterday booked a few blocks of days between now and next October :) That felt good.
We should get an early burn season this year (due to the rain) which will help us financially balance the rainy and snowy days.
Landed a part of a fuel reduction grant this year, so we will have that all winter and spring to play with. They will be masticating the larger portion of the grant...
