    How'd it go today?

Made lemonade out of significant rain, burning. The holly and hazelnut choked first behind the landscaping is now more open allowing more view into the forest. Idk if they use their telescope or just looking. They want it opened up.

    How'd it go today?

I think I may have landed my dream customer. She is slightly eccentric, yard full of mature trees, many young and ornamental trees, fruit trees, evergreens. I get a call from her who got my name from a guy who retired. The call was a basswood removal 90+’er that was split badly and threatening...

Agreed. I like the Petzl Macrocender adjuster on my cable cored lanyard of that diameter. It handles pitch admirably and otherwise has proven to be pretty much bombproof.

Yes the missus is. My pictures never turn out that nice. I have an eye for a picture but never quick enough to get my phone out. Therein lies the problem of Sean suggested retirement plan. I would have to rob, borrow or steel everyone else’s pictures of my dog.

IMO 5/8” is the perfect size for a flip line.

I still, to this day, love a 5/8ths three strand with gibbs and swivel clip about 18-20 foot long. Just right for my mitts. walks up the stem nicely.

What I like most about my flip line is that it's 5/8" and it's functional with pitch. I use a rope lanyard a lot. I'm considering a 3/4"x 12ish'. Good for big hands. My rope lanyard are mainly 1/2". One long 11mm for long limb walks. I'll get a 5/8th on my next order. I read 1/2" rope...

The missus sent me some pictures of the walk yesterday morning. Stunning skies, fluffy clouds and a still fjord make for a decent picture. Oh, there is a dog in them as well to keep on topic.

good spurs are important, i like aluminium bashlin with tree gaffs. i sometimes wear my ascender under them when i need to bridge empty space like in a decurrent tree after i took a redirect. but at first i think you got it right, practise.
