Armoring drop-zones rather than rigging, and armoring for machines.

Chips too can come in handy.

Armoring drop-zones rather than rigging, and armoring for machines.

Try it you might like it. It’s messy but if you have machines to do the clean up it’s not bad.

    Considering some springboards

I think there was a thread where either Burnam or Willie found a link and posted it.

How do you know when a chain bar is done?

Groove's egged out beyond repair, drivelinks dragging in the bottom of the slot, looks ugly and you want a shiny new bar :^D Milled bars are worth putting more attention into repair than laminated. I've hammered the groove closed on a couple laminated bars, and I keep all of them dressed with...

How do you know when a chain bar is done?

The title pretty much says it. How do you know when it's time to toss a chain bar?

...to type. I store it on nextcloud, so it's available everywhere I have internet. edit: This what a generated password looks like... 9n!]/P-D^[xf*"?z(^:a Glad I checked. I had to tick some more boxes for options to choose from. I had it scaled back due to the stupid password requirements of...

Never did much for bomb proofing. Have laid brush to catch chunks from rolling.

    Considering some springboards

I had a set I made but they got lost in a move somehow. Sean uses them somewhat often, I think. Two is the minimum I would recommend, three or four you can build a tree fort and hang out. Lol

    Sawbuck project

I look at sawbucks and think "Hmm...". Having the wood up high and off the ground is really appealing, but it seems like a lot of work before the work starts, you blast through everything, then a bunch more work to reset. I opt to cut on the ground, and do lots of sharpening. Can't seem to keep...

    PSA: Check Your Passwords

I use a pattern. Something from the home page of whatever I'm signing-into, in capitals, a 3 letter word in lower case, 4 numbers and a punctuation symbol. Is that strong enough? How often do you change PWs?

Nice! May it serve your sawing needs for many years to come.

    Considering some springboards

Hi Chaps, Ive been after some spring boards for a while, I contacted my local Axe men association that do the wood chopping events at the local shows, but never heard back from them, was hoping to have gotten something local or at least in aust. I have a few trees I dont trust to climb, or put a...

    Sawbuck project

I built a sawbuck from scratch. My converted (long) pallet sawbuck is on its last legs. I have been thinking of how do build it for working height, sawing, loading and unloading. I'd been lazily trying to figure a design that would allow wood to fall directly into a wheelbarrow. This one...

GRCS , tips and technique for greatness

There is a thread by Muggs over at The Buzz about replacing the winch strap for a 4" ratchet strap. Same working load as the winch but lighter and easier. There is debate about the security of the modification but it is something I plan on doing so once I make up parts so I'll post pics once...
