I ve seen a bunch of bald eagles around here lately, quite thrilling for me cuz normally it would be only every 3-4 years to spot one.     Im the furthest thing from an expert but I'll say Red tail hawk. So they've figured the burning brush pile means food- pretty cool.

    8) The article was cool the way it described the grebes surviving the incredible rain storms. I often think of the same thing when cold rain is pelting down and I'm warm and dry under my asphalt shingles, the way the critters are dealing with it.
