Gary Im a slacker, sorry. The Kask Plasma helmets with comms system installed are $600 forestry visors are $10 and Kask clear visors are $50. You can remove the cloth lining in these hlemets to wash them.

I have a forestry screen on my Kask but can honestly say I much prefer the visor.. One day I will change it out but Im a cheap SOB. Problem with the screen is small dust still makes it through, I dont wear glasses so dont appreciate getting dust in my eyes with the screen. Squish, its kinda...

Yup that dude was fired before he left the job site. I had worked with him a couple of times and told my buddy to get rid of him as he was an idiot, however my buddy thought he was a really "nice guy" so kept him till it cost him big

Yup the velcro sux I just drilled 2 small holes in my helmet and ran a zip tie around it and have had no problems since.... Dont feel too comfy doing it to other peoples helmets though.

Just a thought, so unless Im wrong EVERY single person here who has bought these says the wouldnt work without them again.......... Maybe its a conspiracy to F### Squish:lol:

Squish, for the money it is a total no brainer IMO. Compared to all the money we spend on other stuff $280 is a pitance for the improvment to the worksite. I cannt comment on the Rs as I have not used them but I expect they work as well as ours. Just find them local and pull the trigger on them...

Scott I assume the Rs work with our units but havent tried it yet to make sure....

We have worked in the rain with them, no problemo. They are intended to be mounted on the outside of a motorcycle helmet where they will be exposed to 65mph rain.....

B it is an SMH10R. The battery is remote so I would imagine could be mounted to counter weight the unit. DMC needs to weigh in here as he has them, I want to try some but havent found a good source for them yet.....

As long as you have helmets with ear muffs you should be GTG. I feel like the Kasks really lend themselves to the application but I have never mounted them to anything else.

Stephen, for $280 per pair there is no better investment IMO. As B says just to shoot the shit it is worth it but the safety factor is priceless........
