In the freezer. Nice with blue skies and no wind. 20 inches of snow is settling down. Got hard ground under it anyway. Winter like we used to have.

We are on the roller coaster. High 30's today and tomorrow. Then teens or lower for the highs and lows around zero. Better than mud I guess.

I never understood how you could forget how to drive on slick roads in just a few months time. Lots of people do forget and drive like 90 year old grandmothers. Not that the other extreme is good either. Some idiot passed my Dad and lost control doing some damage to both cars.

Winter, just a little late. Buffalo is in for 12 to 18" today. Up here by Lake Ontario a couple inches. We usually do better unless we get a north or northeast wind. Then we get socked.

Supposed to go down to 10* tonight. First real cold. High tomorrow in mid 20s. Couple of inches of snow on the ground. Winter is here I guess. Had a rose in bloom yesterday and cut cauliflower and broccoli yesterday. 3 months and it will be gone.

State of extremes.

Raw east wind and a few flakes. It's supposed to turn into a wintry mix. That is always a good time.

We lost power last Saturday from the wind. Off 26 hours. They brought in 800 power crews to be prepared. Pretty extensive area they had to cover. Makes you appreciate power. I can't remember how long it's been since the power was off for more than an hour or two.

Kind of ruins the star gazing , Northern Lights, meteor view. Guess those people aren't fans of that stuff. Keeping the boogey man away. Motion lights should do that.
