Just a dirty work trick for no gain of time at the end. The lumber is all splintered and full of nails and I bet that won't stay tight after a few humidity cycles.:thumbdown:
That happens...dogs get sick just like people. If you like having them around, love them, you take the good with the bad...sort of like children in a way :).
Those are very nice to see. Our recent arrival of Black-headed Grosbeaks is similarly enjoyed. Also similarly colored, by happenstance :).

Not my dog but a friend in the UK had a few issues with break ins and got himself a household guardian. He is also doing some protection work with him.
Hugo is a Chinese Red Dog and it 9 or 10 months old and about 48 kg already.
This thing would scare the snot out of you in a dark night.
Spotted our first Bullock's Oriole tthis evening out side the bedroom window. Plummage was amazing under sunsetting light. Wood peckers were messing with it.
