I have never looked back with the least remorse, after changing my sights from a BMW to the sweet and fast Jaguar. Old guys like me get to liking our creature comforts, I suppose :D.

Awesome, Stig. Both are mighty fine ways to eat up miles. I know you'd be faster on every front compared to my Jag XKR...but one ;). I have a heated seat beside me for bringing along my dear sweetness girl en route to the next romantic hideaway...just a simple observation, no deeper message :D.

Mick, I had a Norton 850 back in my college days, was white but otherwise looked just like yours. Fun machine.

Lotta go in that package...but it won't take a tight curve to save it's life, or yours either :D.

Deva, is that the sort of run where the bushes are doing the whacking?? :) Today I ran the Jag up the Clackamas River on Hwy 224 to Ripplebrook and back. That beast is a ton of fun with the top down, sun shining, and the speedo in risky territory . Lots of bikes out in the nice...

You are always welcome, my friend. We both enjoyed your visit, only wish we'd been able to have more time, and decent weather for a ride in the XKR :). Next time!

I only hold it slightly against you that we didn't warrant a visit this year, Wally :).

Yeah, that cuts deep. Frankly, getting ripped off of anything you care about is painful, way beyond the value of the loss itself.

We find ourselves a bit bewildered that we have never yet been to Alaska, as we both have always had a strong hankering to do so...but are making plans to rectify that glaring omission sooner rather than later, Stig.

Sounds a bit familiar...like looking in an old, sorta foggy mirror. Though I didn't take on working around the world...working around the USA was the limit of my ambition back then :). Had a hella fine time, solo and then me and M, all the same. Leastwise, Stig ain't got nuthin' on me so...
