That sounds like my yesterday. Putting stuff away before the rain came. All of a sudden there it is, pouring. Got soaked down. Rained for 5 minutes and quit.
I recommend buying a bead breaker. Not sure if HF is good enough, but my son got an old manual tire machine with a lever type bead...
Beautiful morning. Sunny, cool, and light breeze. High 20s. Saw 5 white tail deer run across my hay field this morning. Males had pretty big antlers already. Way early. Due to warm weather I guess.
Winter again here. Around freezing, blustery, and snow floating around. Couple more weeks and we should be done with this. We cannot complain. Had some very nice days.
Low 30s tonight, tomorrow, and tomorrow night with some snow. It is still early March, although it hasn't seemed like it. Can't believe how early the migratory birds came back.
Drizzly and 45 today. Hard to take after bright sun, calm wind, and mid 50s yesterday. I know, it's only early March. Crazy year. I don't think there was ever much ice on Lake Erie this year. It used to routinely freeze over. I have seen pictures of people driving their cars out on the ice.
Another crap drizzly, just above freezing day. Snow has all melted and the creek is at flood stage as high as it has ever been. The escarptment up a few miles from here got a lot more snow than we did. Rain on top really melted it off fast.
I think -23 is the coldest I remember here. Been many years since we have had anything close to that and that's ok with me. Without wind it's not all that bad. Our windchills will be in negative numbers for the next several days. The wind can quit anytime now. Our power goes out with...
Yup. It's heading our way. Not supposed to be enough to cause any problems. Had a couple nice drippy cold dreary days. Some sun today. A real up and down fall. Nice it's not all down. We did have nice fall color this year. Wind and rain put an end to that.
These double flashes were cloud to ground or ground to cloud. Very clear and almost carbon copy of the first strike a second or so after the first. Every strike was a double. Seemed ominous.
Thunder storm question. Anyone ever seen a storm with double flashes of lightening repeatedly? I don't think I have ever seen a double flash before. We had a storm that was a distance away. I was out in the field on a tractor and saw repeated double flashes. It looked ominous and I know...
