The logs arent to bad, but must of the tree fork into multi stems at about 10m. Given that they are 43m tall, that leaves a lot of topwood.

Hard to say. There is a very high proportion of firewood in this lot, as they weren't really close grown enough.

We took the decision to extract at a slow and steady pace rather than put the job off. It's going surprisingly well to be honest, and once the crop is cut, I can get the trucks right down to where the timber is stacked.
