I like those bottles. I have a few from various sources I saved to put stuff in. ATM, one has popcorn kernels, one with seasalt, and one with fire cider.

    What Are You Drinking Tonight?

Closest I come to a sweet drink is G&T in the summer, though I use reduced sugar tonic, and maybe some port in the winter. I'll also drink Irish cream in coffee in winter, but that's more like a dessert. Kind of like hot chocolate. Didn't buy any Irish cream this year. I forgot.

Sorry, I missed this. They're bitters. 44% alcohol, and VERY bitter. Fun fact, you can buy them OTC anywhere. They aren't classified as an alcoholic beverage. It's a food supplement, or something like that. I get them from amazon. Pretty expensive for what it is, but it's a unique experience...

    What Are You Drinking Tonight?

Yea, stouts are my jam. If you're gonna tempt me with a beer, a stout's what likely gonna get me to bite. IPA and high hop beers kind of annoy me. I like them, but it's become the default style. If a place has one nice beer available, odds are it's gonna be an IPA or something similar.

    What Are You Drinking Tonight?

You should try it. It's good. Crisp, refreshing, and it doesn't make you feel bloated. Coming in from working in the heat, I'd rather pound a can of hop water than a can of beer. It gives you an element of beer taste, without some of the subjective negatives. Beer's for after you cool down, and...

    What Are You Drinking Tonight?

It's like LaCroix beer flavored seltzer :^D It alludes to a beer flavor. It also alludes to grapefruit. Depends on where your head's at.

    What Are You Drinking Tonight?

Nothing like a nice refreshing glass of hot water when you've been working outside in the summer :^D

    What Are You Drinking Tonight?

Dunno the regs regarding wells, and they probably vary by location. Before you do anything, you might want to research your well in particular, and wells in general in your immediate area. The water could be bad there. Shallow well, high in unwanted chemicals, tastes like ass... The well water...

    What Are You Drinking Tonight?

My tap water isn't bad, but you can sometimes taste the chlorine. I have a dripping faucet in the kitchen, and I keep a glass under it. That lets the water air out, and it tastes better than it does fresh from the tap.

    What Are You Drinking Tonight?

Saw this at the grocery today and had to try it... It's really good. Just sparkling water and hops. Expensive. I think it was $5/4pack, and it was a discount grocer. With any luck it won't sell well and the price will drop. Worth it for the experience, but too much money to drink all the time.

Troegs gingerbread cookie stout leftover from last jul. I emptied the box to catch the bat earlier this year.

Dalmore 12yr, and not a Swedish candle. I suddenly came into possession of a bunch of white pine branches, and this is a good use for them.

    What Are You Drinking Tonight?

Drinking season starts when it's fit to be outside. Around the 50s is pretty good. It ends in the spring when it becomes unfit to be outside. I make some exceptions like last night. That was more aspirational than anything, but the air smelled good, so I made an exception. The sky wasn't as...

So, how is this made? You brew a carrot beer(details!), then distill it into spirits? What's it aged in?

    What Are You Drinking Tonight?

As nice as last night was, there were still bugs out, and the fire didn't feel as good as it does in winter. Bugs were a double edged sword. Some of them were fireflys, and they're super cool, but another 10° and it would have been miserable. Too hot for a fire, and skeeters ramped up to 11.
