Not a good way to end the day but it could’ve been much worse. This is the hazard with topping trees. The limb showed no signs of being hollow and was choked two feet below the old topping cut. It just crushed itself under the weight. It was a static pick and I was just about to start rotating...

Most likely. I did a pull and a push and felt things seem to go back into place. Most of my foot is bruised top side. Picked up some more tape on my way to the chiropractors today. I probably should lash it it to next toe and keep it iced and elevated tonight

Got my first painful injury last night. Broke my pinky toe and tried to rip it off. Little blood and lots of swelling. The pop was loud enough almost everyone stopped rolling. Kinda sucks walking around today😆.

What's the weather like in your neck of the woods?

Barely got anything here. Came down decently hard for an hour while on the job yesterday. Just happened to be a job that we had to haul away a dirt mound as part of it. I had half of it gone when the rain started. Rained enough to make it a sloppy mess. A bit cooler today but still hot and humid.

    How'd it go today?

Having a great long weekend. Besides the normal hiking and four wheeling when we go camping here, we rented a pontoon for the day over at the lake. John and I took all the kids fishing this morning and then the women joined us around noon for some lake time. Fun times had by all. Just chilling...

    How'd it go today?

Removed a small bit dumbly planted Norway maple and pruned two more. These are considered invasive to many in my area. And these were planted as part of the allotment twenty plus years ago. They are all showing signs of girdling roots in the whole place. Made a few snips on a dogwood to get it...

You bought the Grizzly 450? I was looking at those but don’t want to drop the money yet. Could come in handy if I go full on Rogan and start bow hunting 😆. Found this the other day. https://sisuplunges.com/ Pricing seems to match up assuming the chiller is >2200

I’ve been slacking a lot on my work outs but still plunging daily. Thinking of getting a small commercial ice machine since the frozen jugs aren’t getting the water cold enough for my liking in the summer heat. I know the research says below 50F has no additional benefits but I prefer 40. I can...

the rise seems to align with when I started taking it. Docs haven’t said anything yet since it’s not considered high but it’s gone from 119/88 to 138/88 in six months. Most rise has been in the last three which is when I started. Also happens to be when I started seeing the endocrinologist...

Before starting and after an hour on a walnut removal yesterday. It was hot and miserable. Had it down and cleaned up by lunch. Had to grind and clean up the stump as well so that took a good while. Then I hauled some dirt for a co worker that started a retaining wall project at his home while...
