    In The News...

It always seemed kind of risky looking to tell other civilizations where to find us. We can't even get along with our own kind.

Poorly written. But a great subject. The discoveries those two craft have made and are making are very interesting. We are now exploring interstellar space. Congrats humans 👏 https://www.nasa.gov/news-release/nasas-voyager-spacecraft-still-reaching-for-the-stars-after-40-years/...

The New Offical Mutts of the House thread

Odin the big goofy Great Dane who likes to hug and thinks he’s a lap dog. I forget the husky looking one’s name, but she is very quiet which is strange. Next is Luna, very smart and persistent ball chaser. She will constantly drop balls outside the fence, stare at them and bark demandingly...

    How'd it go today?

I've only run the mill half a day last week. This has been going on for a long time. No fever or aches, but I get fatigued easily.

    How'd it go today?

I had a nasty head cold that has settled in my chest. I thought it might be flu or covid with how achy I was in the beginning No fever. Going on 2 weeks. Making me drag ass.

The tree itself really isn’t in striking distance of anything under the lean. And I would suggest leaving it. He’s more concerned with wildlife intrusion of the house. I know cut down critters home they are going somewhere else, like his house lol. Lake people rarely make sense but he does want...

Habitat snag making today. Logs to the neighbor's mill tomorrow. Brushed out, big boy pants. I stuck my throw weight/ line at the beginning. Pulling on the line moved this spindly, hollow, remnant forest maple an unnerving amount. I spiked from the base with a choked climb line and...

How short does it need to become straight asset and not a hazard and asset at the same time? A guy with a spiderlift could manage that as niche work, adding other components like animal boxes, manufactured cavities, etc. Tell them to get a wildlife guide and binoculars.

    How'd it go today?

I took down a burly maple for a turner yesterday. Brushed out a shitty maple for the next door neighbor today. Logs are going to the second customers' neighbor for his sawmill. There's some spalt! @Burnham 😉

What's the weather like in your neck of the woods?

Just started here. I took my time coming home from class to enjoy the lightning. Got in the house just as the rain started. Should be a complete washout for work tomorrow but the boss seems to be in a mood so I’ll probably get wet.

    How'd it go today?

I'm still dealing with some respiratory issues, even after a full course of antibiotics. Sense of taste seems to be off. :slam2:
