All kitty's safe and accounted for. Blood on deck still unaccounted for? Odd to me. Often the cats will bring home their kills(mostly field mice). But when they do there's never this much blood, not even close and there would be the sacrificial offering left. Usually a decapitated carcass. Cats...
I hate to think of her getting plucked off my front porch while probably waiting to come in. She was my sweetest cat. Real friendly and easy going. Youngest too.
Hmm. Hoping for a favorable outcome.
We've got 4 cats. 2 indoor/outdoor and 2 outdoor(barn). Well this morning my wife says to me 'someone spilled red paint on the deck'. Ummm no, that's frozen blood. 3 cats accounted for and one MIA. Seems like to much blood to be from something one of them...
If I get a chance ill ask the vet about that. A friend of ours was there for the whole thing he figured about 15 stitches to join the muscle back up and 30 to 40 for the skin. He helped hold the skin back while the vet worked in the muscle.
The golden nugget my wife's horse should make a full recovery we hope just some scarring to both him and my wallet. He's isolated at this point but close enough to the other horses to not be stressed. I just hope the stitching holds.
Damn Stephen that feed sounds expensive I sell hay for 6.50...
Ha somehow I missed that. Yah it'll be a lot of work until anyone rides.
My wife's horse got in some trouble yesterday. Tore his rear hip open on a bolt end. Ripped up some muscle pretty good. Layers of stitches. Wife didn't ask the vet how many but the wound is about a foot long.
Yah....not much to do. I'll hear what the vet says tomorrow but at 9 I'm thinking its conformation caused more than anything else. And if so it'll only get worse and more painful for him. Horses are tough and generally not big complainers so its hard to tell when or how much they may be suffering.
Well. Charlie's future is looking very uncertain. Lower ringbone at 9. The long story short is he doesn't have much of a future I think. Haven't spoken directly to the vet myself yet.
