    Equipment purchasing. Financing or not?

Liquidity squeezes are a real issue to watch out for, strong liquidity is a huge and undervalued asset for a business. Normally $15-30k gets paid out of pocket. In February: I financed a work pickup. I paid for the trailer and upfitting on that truck. In March: I paid off the 2022...

In concerning world times, more nest egg may be better. Interest bearing accounts or stable investments offsets interest on a loan.

    Equipment purchasing. Financing or not?

Which has a better write off? Either way, I would hope, the machine is going to make money. Borrow their money, keep your money, make a payment or two ahead so the interest rate is nonexistent, or make a payment and half extra a month pay it off sooner increase your credit score. All while you...

    Equipment purchasing. Financing or not?

My neighbor said that if you are in a bind and want to borrow $30k, you are screwed. If you finance the equipment and get in a bind, the bank wants to keep getting payments, as able, during the bind. They don't want your chipper. Having enough equipment that keeps going to jobs makes the...

My 461 is the same style filter and it seems better than my huskies. Flippys are absolute trash.

One would think that Stihl would do their R&D a bit better. The 201 was a bust and they didn't stand behind it. I still don't care for their flippys. Easy to overfill the oil and prone to collecting debris that can get in oil. I could think of more.

I find a winch there more useful than on the front. I also have a receiver mounted one that I can also anchor to a tree or whatever…as long as the battery lasts

Need a round tuit. Upgraded from my old 12k that served me well for many years, two decades, finally died…bought used - to a used 15k. Haven’t modded the fairlead yet. Feeding off the boom, the cable generally goes where it’s supposed to.

Not much time but real good so far. 32” aggressive round filed full comp, didn’t balk. I like the feel and the self tuning. A little heavier than a 390 but lighter than a 395 and more torque than the 390. Ported by a fella (Simon) in western Canada who was well known and died young at 51...
