    The Official Work Pictures Thread

Burls, or burrs across the pond are sought after for the unique disoriented grain pattern many which create focal “eyes”. I have a few at the moment. Usually about 50% are nothing great once opened or have too many openings running through them. Some get used despite the loss of integrity for...

    How'd it go today?

Fever broke last night - still coughing up a ton but hopeful this is a turning point. Watching reels and videos… Hanger for the axe you keep in your shed.

Nasty locust tree in a bad spot. Quick three hours from arrival to pulling out. The crew was happy for a break from ROW work. Did some saw maintenance and took some tests for the gas companies requirements. Still trying to figure out how we’re supposed to wear an ID badge and work.

What's the weather like in your neck of the woods?

Blue sky and rain... Hecka squall blew out of nowhere at a Puget Sound water front customers west facing property (or winds are mostly from the SW).

I bought a cheap little mini-x at an auction. Looking at the hydraulic thumb option at the auction. Part for a 300' trench needed, some to handle some large firewood, part to have a machine at the yard for handling material while the Mini-loader is on a jobsite, part to play with the idea of...

    How'd it go today?

Seems to have been bound up. The buggered pad is from the inside of the caliper, drivers side. Both pads, same caliper. Also seems, my guess, is whomever did the brake job for the previous owner, did not properly, or forgot to lube, the caliper slide pins and boots. And whomever did the...

    How'd it go today?

Those are one of the pads, one from each side? If so, is the slave cylinder on the side with the thick pad malfunctioning and not exerting proper braking pressure?

    How'd it go today?

One of these things just aint like the other. Yeah, it was noisy. Funny thing. When I had my new tires put on, I asked for them to check the pads since they would not let me. Told me at least 50%. Guess they only looked at the passenger side..... All fixed.
