    How'd it go today?

Throw lines are very worth learning to use. Highly advisable, imho. Better to have a pole than nothing.

What's the weather like in your neck of the woods?

Single digits at night with high winds; folk nw of us with no power; excuse to sit by the fireplace and catch up on reading; when Karen retired a friend of hers congratulated her by saying, “ Enjoy being able to sit and read in the daylight”.

    How'd it go today?

Some kind of fiberglass telescoping tool I think the power companies use. I’m thinking about using it to set pull lines.

Throw line skills, tips, tricks, techniques

It’s for all the massive amounts of debris every tree guy loves to have tangled up in their throw lines. Lol. I don’t even let saw chips collect in my cubes.

    Borer “trap tree”

I would think a chip pile in your climate would get plenty hot enough to kill anything. Burning is best for infected trees.

What's the weather like in your neck of the woods?

-4 and dropping. High wind gusts. Sawmill started at 0 earlier to provide assistance to the Kubota that was getting a new fuel line yesterday, an odd role reversal.

    Mustard

Gulden's was my grandparent's mustard. The local deli has a very good spicy mustard that I like.
