    Favourite SRT neck loop?

I got a neck loop from Treekit, because I live in England. It's a bit of elastic that runs through a rope sheath and has a DMM mini biner. Anyway, thanks to all who contributed on this thread.

I agree Dave. To keep it in line I slide a rubber corner trap along the steel krab and push it up against the HH. This stops the HH moving round the krab and cross loading. Thanks for posting. Al.

Be VERY careful with a longer tending loop. It can sit on top of the HH, holding the dog bone down when you sit in the harness thus allowing you to fall. I gave up with a tending loop a long time ago when I discovered that clipping my chest ascender into the harness bridge ring kept everything...

    Favourite SRT neck loop?

So my question is which neck loop do you guys use? I've been using the Swingdude chesty but have found that it isn't perfect with the BDB (The Swingdude chesty is perfect for my HH because I clip it to my harness ring). I've shortened the bridge on my Tree motion which helped a little but feel...

I use my pulley most days, then I don't. Whatever suits the tree best, is best!

Yes what DMc said. Try not to muscle yourself around the tree as you would on a DRT system. Try to refine technique so that the whole climb becomes physically easier. Use the big muscle groups, like your thighs, and really consider your body position at all times, especially your core muscles.

I've only been up and down some tall Cypress since my last post but less wraps seem to be better on the Cougar. Christ knows why I was putting more wraps on, I must be the dumbest climber around. Surprised I didn't work my way up to 12 wraps! Hahaha!

I recently bought Cougar Blue to use with my HH. I had some Armor Pruss hitch cord and it was perfect but that has now worn out and there doesn't seem to be a stockist anywhere in the world! So I've tried some 8mm Sirius, 8mm HRC, 8 & 6mm Liros and the fabled 10mm Beeline. The HRC and Beeline...

Damn it! I was sure I'd read ages ago that folks liked HRC. I just bought 4meters of the frigging stuff and I t's expensive in England!

So I've got a Cougar Blue rope and have been using Armor Pruss which seemed good. I've read that HRC (Therma Shield in England) is supposed to be great. Well I've just used it for an hour and it was lovely then it became awful! I can't decsend at all. Tried different numbers of wraps and still...

Ok so you may have read that I got a Cougar Blue rope (with Armor Pruss hitch) and for me it has transformed my HH, especially on tending smoothly, compared to my old Yale Poison HiVee. Now i've got some HRC hitch cord it's even better.:D PCTREE - WHERE'S THE NEW HH? At least tease us with a...

Hi Bermy. As far as design features go, the HH ticks all the boxes for me. I have never been 100% satisfied with it until I recently started climbing on Cougar Blue with Armor Pruss. Now the whole thing is just a dream in both ascent and descent. The only comparison I make is with a ZK1 on SRWP.
