It used to be common to see trunks painted white here. Not much any more. Now I see Indian laurels dying from trunk sun exposure - maybe reflective paint would help?

    How'd it go today?

The merry go round is has been spinning too fast for too long. Always something all the time. Or multiple somethings. Came Home to 80 degree house. Oh crap. Not livable when it’s 111 outside. Luckily the AC parts man was still at work, had the parts, and came and installed too! 395s are for...

Make sure the 359 has a metal boot clamp. Also some of their carbs need a hole drilled in the diaphragm cover plate…treemonkey 359 carb fix…I forget if it’s the walbro or zama. A red one of those was what got me started in saws. This is another one

Well, Stephen...as I'm sure you keep in mind, any work in a time of little work is a boon. Keep on keeping on, my friend.

    How'd it go today?

I still have a 355t I need to do a whole parts swap on to replace the tanks/engine cover. Someone got it stuck, and tugged so hard the ripped the whole handle off the engine.

The 45,000 lber needed a boost from the CAT 966 to get up out of the field Funny how much perspective messes with a camera. The Champ is bigger than the greenies but they were closer. Couple “one log loads”

    How'd it go today?

359 was the first expensive saw I ever ran after a poulan without anti-vibe. It was impressively smooth. smooth and kind of slow on the spool up/down too was my impression. It felt expensive. What happened to the intake boot? I'm just curious what failures happen and why.

Little gift from a custy the other day. 359.Runs great, but maybe a bit lean. These were good saws. Happy Stephen. My hot rod Echo is down at the moment (intake boot). This will fill in for now nicely, except for the full comp 24" 😝
