What Did Ya'll Have For Dinner Tonight?

Stikine, as a resident, are you limited on how many crab pots you are allowed? Our Alaska trip is approaching fast, I finally focused on what we will be doing on the cruise. Stopping in Juneau, Sitka and Ketchikan. Not sure which excursion is where but we are hoping to see the bears eating...

Agreed. Also to pull an immense tree like that with backlean needs more than just a tractor and bullrope, or if that’s all you got it needs a proper back cut, wedges and many years of experience.

I thought they looked solid early when they knocked out a 'proper looking gob' (how'd I do Mick?!?!), but among other things, the backcut was way too high and worst of all, sloped.

Yes, seen that. Doesn’t look staged to me. That would be a ballsy fell for anyone. These guys look like they know a bit, but not enough..

A shiny bauble to attract gear junkies

I had rock break one for me. On 11.7mm rope it slipped between 530 and 630lbs. Then, with a stopper knot it tore the rope at 1300lbs. Finally, installed on a steel cable, it broke at 1700lbs. Pretty remarkable for 3d printed!

    How'd it go today?

customer texts me asking if I work in a certain area, check on google and see why they are having a hard time finding anyone, I've been that way in a pickup truck and had to use 4wd on pavement to get up some of the hills, and you'd have to drop/re-hook trailers to make certain turns of course...

    Good Morning!

Smart feller. I hide clocks too. I did it for a friend once, but his clocks stopped after a minute, or he'd not hear them. If too short of a walk, he'd go back to bed. I've got 2 lamps on timers that audibly click on and off and simulate sunlight, and a hidden clock. If I'm really bad, I'll brew...

    Stikine's guiding thread

I'd bet you would be good as a guide. You are articulate and would be a conversationalist with the clients, if I'm reading you correctly.
