The 5/16 is specified at 150 pounds WLL. I bet the 5/8 is fairly stout for a free rope.
Looks similar to some hardware store rope I like to practice hollow braid splices. Definitely for non-critical use. The stuff I get is small 5/16 and 3/8. It is 100% polyester with a non-woven cloth filler to keep it round. I pull out and discard the core.
I enjoyed seeing the Reg videos of traversing with a grapple. I don’t need one but I looked anyway. The particular one he used was difficult to find online. Now he has worked with Notch to make one available that looks like 1/3 of his old grapple.
