Last year I got to climb and cut a limb off a black oak that CDF could not put out.
Burn pile threw sparks into a hollow limb between 30 and 40 feet up. HO did not want to call them back out and risk a large fine. They had already been once and even shot foam into it.

This year, after the storms; I could have sat on my ass in the office all day every day writing up bids after driving out trying to look at 4 plus per day. I make more money in the field with a hellla of a lot less travel time and trying to see clients that can seem to be on time to a consult.
I charge for the written estimate and bid. They submit 3 different ones from others. Collect money (often) and either get on a ladder and remove the tree from the roof, hire 1/2 price Harry working for meth and beer money.

Stupid dipstick flange on the 7.3 leaking. So I went to do the fix, dropped the damn thing into the pan. I had it tethered with wire, but could not raise it back out of the pan. Baffle plate guessing...

Levi landed in Florida today. 2 month working vacation with his buddy that moved out there. He transfers into another college out here next year and wanted a break.

In his first pictures, Cary, had his tending line from the rear of his saddle connected to the tether on the rope wrench.
A little item that eventually bit him in the ass literally. When he leaned back, it caused the devise to release the hitch. And down he went.
