This was my day yesterday
Normally ride on my own but was great having her along with me. I don't think I'm a particularly strong cyclist because I've only been at it for a couple of years but I can hold my own. I dropped from 205 to 167 pounds and didn't lose strength so just go until I'm tired, get a coffee then go...
Never ridden a gravel bike before but absolutely loved it. Drivers were brilliant to be fair. Cycle paths were better than the roads in the UK. I wanted to go further but partner was worried her battery wouldn't last on the ebike.
Very quiet roads in general, bet it's chaotic in the Summer though
I use a piano wire fid mate. New rope is super easy but this one was a bit tougher as the cores weren't sitting completely parallel. Push the fid up the outside with a bit of slack in the cover and it's fine
