    How's the splice today?

You are correct Burnham. There are 9 parallel cores in Drenaline, I got the fid through the cover and caught one of the cores and it wouldn't move for love nor money. When I backed the fid out and tried again, I forgot to come out on the mark and went on the opposite side of the rope meaning...

    How's the splice today?

It's a Witchard Marlin spike mate. I got it for Father's day and it is beautifully made. Fits just right in the hand. I dont use it on every splice as the end is slightly too sharp for some rope constructions. My old faithful screwdriver I sanded down is my go to.

    How's the splice today?

Used Drenaline. Had to back the fid out on the cover bury as it was definitely not playing ball. Got there in the end. Who can spot the "mistake" that is causing me immeasurable professional shame and embarrassment?

    How'd it go today?

There are a number of things that I would call Burnham, Smart ass isn't on my list but it may be on yours. Different strokes for different folks. I've not picked up on him being harder on you than any other member on here. In my experience from being on here a number of years, people come and...

    How's the splice today?

Not sure about whipping elastic mate. Have you put the locking stitches through? Don't know if it would need it other than aesthetics

Normally ride on my own but was great having her along with me. I don't think I'm a particularly strong cyclist because I've only been at it for a couple of years but I can hold my own. I dropped from 205 to 167 pounds and didn't lose strength so just go until I'm tired, get a coffee then go...

Never ridden a gravel bike before but absolutely loved it. Drivers were brilliant to be fair. Cycle paths were better than the roads in the UK. I wanted to go further but partner was worried her battery wouldn't last on the ebike. Very quiet roads in general, bet it's chaotic in the Summer though
