    7 days into a 10 day project - it’s the biggest one I have ever taken on and the schedule is really tight. Approximately 200 trees along a well used walkway, which is on an old railway line. We have only had to climb 9 trees so far, but I sort of cheated….

    Nice old saw and great fo those little jobs. Dump the chain - well keep it for cutting dirty timber stumps. It’s an old semi-chisel safety chain and lacks in performance in clean timber.     Nearly finished a woodland job within a nature reserve . Removal of a lot of ash with dieback, retaining some for habitat - both as whole trees and as monoliths. The replanting crew arrive Monday so we are really pushing it.

    We get diesel bug quite often these days. We have to treat every delivery with an additive, or we would be in trouble within weeks. A couple of inline fuel filters in the glove box can be a lifesaver
