Good morning Treehousers

Oh boy.

Got the last of my hay in the barn. Still gotta bale 25 acres for my brother in law, but he's gonna cut and rake. Made about 250 4x6 bales this year.

Good to see you fellas. With the saws and the farm, time is at a premium.

Hell....I'm about 4 months out.

Cut hay today. Lift arm shaft came loose on the JD2640 because of a 50 cent clip. Dumped all the hydraulic fluid. Luckily it only holds 10 gallons of the good stuff.

Same as ever. Busy. Gearing up to cut the last round of hay. Looking forward to cooler weather.

How you fellas been doing?

I like that about these fellas.

Same guy used to stand on the edge of the roof and do back flips off and land on his feet. I just shook my head knowing that he would end up a frigged up mess one day.

He was, Cory. Sadly, he started doing heroin, and today he's in a wheelchair. Life is crazy.

We used to have a contest to see who could carry the most 8' 2 x 4 studs from the stack, into the house we were framing. It came up a couple of times a year for several years. One guy that worked for my brother would always win. He could carry 26 studs.......two stacks of 13. That's all he could...

I shot the little feller.......my nephew is working it up.

You know.......the little fucker is getting around good. Of course it's in pain though.

Here's a "how's it going today" for you. One of our calves got hung in the fence. Ended up with a compound fracture of it's hind leg. I gotta put it down. Right now the cows are all hanging together in the shade, and I don't wanna kill on of their young ones while they watch. I'm gonna wait...
