There are plenty of OTC insecticides that can negatively affect pollinators and the environment with improper rates, timing, and application. Again, I would highly suggest understanding pesticide labels before offering any sort of advice.

I would be very cautious of recommending insecticides if you are not a licensed applicator, or do not understand pesticide labels. There is a lot more to recommending pesticides than what won't harm the tree. For example: flowering trees, pollinators, label rates, and environmental impacts.

You are giving credence to plastic and not the persistence of a willow tree and the test of time.

@davidwyby Why wouldn’t you get a tracked/wheeled loader or excavator, tow it with your 6x6, and be able to forward, skid, process, pile, clean, lift, load, haul, etc. with one combination setup?

Comparing a built 440 to a stock 500i is apples to oranges in technology and ergonomics, but that saw is cheaper than a stock 500i, which is around $1660.00 here with a 28” bar. The black dye holds up well IMO.
