anyone have a recommendation on a gas drill, to power a 2" auger bit for deep root feedings,

i'd love to have a reverse on it , in case ya get stuck in or between a root,

any suggestions

i looked and sherill has an echo with a reverse for $419.00...plus$85.00 for the auger bit..

any info of what your using or would buy is appreciated

I use the Stihl BT45. Works fine in soft soil, but leaves a lot to be desired in heavy clay and good luck getting anything done when there are a lot of rocks. I would like to see what others use as well, there has to be something better.

Air spade!
I have a used bt45 Stihl I would part with for $400, haven't used in a couple years I think. It has 2 forward speeds, neutral and a reverse

Do you use your bt45 for cabling at all?

I have quite a bit, thats why I have kept it but I see myself needing it much less all the time
