Hatchi died a long time ago. I meant his statue. Still gets petted. You are right though, I think people took pity on him and kept him fed up when his life was one of roaming. Everybody around there knew him, kind of a fixture in the community, apparently.

Ha. They live the life. Nicest dogs I've ever had. Super mellow but still quite protective. Both unfixed still. They don't ever leave the property. I don't think they could walk far enough to. Lol.
