I would like to use a different stopper knot on the ends of the rope bridge on my NT Onyx saddle.

The "heaving line knot" New Tribe uses does not leave me with a warm and fuzzy feeling.

If not perfectly dressed and set, the tag end tends to pull down into the knot.

Is the Double Overhand Stopper Knot as good as any for this use or is there a better suggestion?

Thanks.

Double overhand is as good as any for that app, sure. Some might suggest a figure of 9 stopper knot, it's OK too. I like the DO better, myself.

I have been using the DO on my bridge for the last year. Never a problem with it loosening. Only issue is if left tied for long periods like 6 months it becomes almost impossible to untie. Anyway it doesn't matter because I put a new bridge on every 6 months. For $5 give or take depending on cordage I figure why not.

I also use the DO on my termination points such as lanyards and climbing line as well.

Thanks guys. I figured it was the one to use, but when I'm going to hang off of it I like to hear from the voice of experience.
