Shipping equipment

Looks like we will be moving across the country this fall. I will be moving the tree biz as well.

Strongly considering shipping my chipper and chip truck and mini ex rather than making an extra trip and driving/hauling it myself.

I'm thinking everything will fit on a step deck trailer.

Anyone ever figure out the logistics of this before? I'm really not sure where to start. Never used a carrier for more than LTL.

I’ve shipped lifts and loaders all over the country.

Any trucking companies local to you on either end? Dealing directly is almost always cheaper than a broker.

I was hoping to find someone local as well but it may be difficult as we're moving from one small town to another..

Got one quote today and it seemed reasonable considering the distance.
