I recently bought a new camera, nothing special, but the quality of the pics is not bad at all. The only problem is when I try to resize them. They become very bad.
Their size normally is 4000 x 3000 pixel, and i usually resize them to 600 x 450.
When I do the same with the pics from my cell phone ( 2000x 1500 more or less), they don't change that much. Any idea? Thanks.

Usually there's more than one setting on the camera .For example the older now HP camera I have is 5 megapixel but I use the 2 MP setting then down size the ones I want to post with Windows photo editor .

It could also be the setting on the camera if that option is available .

Yes, resize to post here. No problem with adding files, just complaining about the quality. If you look at the pics I posted lately in the work thread they're not so clean as I would like to. They're much much better before I resize them.
I 'll follow Al's advice and check the camera settings. Thank you.

I will give a look at the link, even if I think the quality has nothing to do with the program I'm using to resize ( Arcsoft Camera Suite- Photoimpression)
