orange jelly

I have a cedar on my property that is oozing orange jelly, I asume its a fungus. anyone know what it is?
 
Cedar-apple rust ... Pics might help...

I didn't notice a smell but I did see dark spots here and there on the trunk that looked wet, like somthing seeping through from the inside. the jelly was down lower about a foot and a half from ground.
 
Unless you cut down any and every apple tree with a half mile radius there isn't much you can do about it.
 
yup, cedar apple rust, we get that here as well as pear trellis rust which goes between pears and junipers. The cedars that get affected are actually Thuja species, not true Cedrus FWIW.
