Helmet stank

My experience shows that only forced ventilation of the helmet using the built-in fan can solve the problem of overheating of the head. Let it make the helmet a little heavier, but the comfort level outweighs it.

Time to time, I use a spray bottle with rubbing alcohol to soak the (so-called) antiperspirant band of the helmet. Usually at the end of the day when the thin leather band is well wet and to give it time to act. That calms down the activity of the microorganisms degrading the sweat. Still not a flower odor, but it kills the stink good enough;

I like the spray bottle with rubbing alcohol method you described. I use it to sanitize pruning tools anyway so it’s readily available.
