Everything is currently working fine, but my upper feed roller has developed a gap on one side of it. Just wondering what is happening. Thanks.

Looks like they are probably not OK, although nothing seems to be getting too hot. Honestly, I wouldn't know where to start looking.

Stick a pry bar in between the rollers and see if they move vertically on either side. They turn slow enough as to not get hot but I'd imagine there is a grinding noise if you listen carefully while they are turning

I couldn't find any vertical free play between the rollers, but there is about 1/4" of horizontal free play in the upper roller/yoke, creating that gap in my picture - do I just have a bad feed roller shaft bearing? Thanks.

Are those what hold the bearings in place on the shaft? I've never had one apart.

They just clamp to the shaft to keep the shaft from sliding but I would guess taper lock on that set up
