Chip Burning Furnaces

I know people with wood burning furnaces outside that heat water and pump it into the house. I also have heard of indoor pellet furnaces that burn pellets of pressed sawdust and such.

Does anyone have any experience with a residential furnace that burns chips?

The problem with these systems is the feed system, in this case the screw feed, they need constantly sized chips , notice in the video they are using shredded mulch not wood chips. The sticks and big chunks in our chips would block it up. I have an idea how to do a feed system that would work but don't have the resources to do the R & D .

Chippers with a screen in them make consistant chips.

On a different but related note,I keep thinking drum chips should make great kindling, but never around to drying a good batch. Anybody do this?
