Burnt plant id

I'm trying to identify this large shrub. I believe these are normally a dark green leaf on the top and a greyish color on the bottom. Any help?

I've seen the one with longer leaves. Too bad they are not broad leaf evergreen, because the texture is really nice looking. Makes a nice pond area plant too.
