I had a t-shirt once with a picture of a Redwood on it.

Great pics!!

Deva, agreed about not a robins nest, too many twigs and sticks. Are ravens in your area? Maybe a crows nest too, was it high up?

Gerry, great picture and the coin perspective was cool. Awesome evolutionary adaption re the egg coloring and nest location for camouflage.

Ugg, yesterday I cut into a nest full of woodpecker eggs up in a large dead ash, didn't see the nest till the cut was finished. The eggs were warm. Smh.

Cory, they were just in a 20 foot acacia that had been thinned beyond belief...

We have tons of crows too...

We got everything out here.

Jim I thought you were into no till. Or is that low till. Or is that drilling.

That is some ground we are transitioning to Organic. It takes some tillage to be organic.

Right there will have a full season cover crop planted in a couple weeks.

Thats awesome, thanks for the info and good luck. My wife buys pretty much all organic, fwiw. I know we've had these discussions here about the pros and cons of organic.

I see the transmission towers in background. Used to like to climb to top and smoke blunts lol.

Lots of gulls hereabouts along the Columbia and Willamette Rivers. Plenty of gulls in northeastern Oregon and southwestern Idaho. More than plenty in northwestern Utah. Looong way from the coast, those are :).
