I was given an older Makita DCS 390 by some people I did a tree job for. It needed carb work, fuel lines etc. I got it running good and like it for a trim saw. I have done some looking and it seems parts are hard to find. Makita and Dolmar merged I guess. The saw says made in West Germany. Anybody have a lead on parts?

Talk to Scott at Cutting Edge, 518-692-2878.
If he can't help, he will find someone that can!! Good people!

Not sure, he's a big sponser at AS, but good people. I'll ask him if you want?
Aha so --Cuttin Scott if memory serves me correctly . Every so often I guess he gets an old saw or three passing through ,maybe a trade or something .He usually pedals them pretty cheap too .

Run over to the local Home Depot Rental. They usually rent Mikita Chainsaws & should be able to get you the parts you need.:):)
