A couple of trees I found recently

It's funny, I hike through the same groves all the time and keep finding new trees to capture with my camera. Here's a couple from last weeks trip to the Avenue of the Giants.

yeah. it may soon be laying on the ground.

Now here's another I missed. It fell about 4 years ago. It would have been a real beauty to capture while it was still standing. But it is a mighty fine tree even laying on the ground.

Oh I know it's part of a conservatory of sorts but it just seems odd to me .There lies a half dozen box cars full of redwood and you can't do a thing with it except look at it .

Those trees being recognized is a real grand effort to the preservation of the environment.

I know its perverted but whenever I see pictures of trees like that I just think about how long they would take to take down in an urban area...... Freakin huge .

I think about how much fun they are to climb.

Or just to walk among and look at in awe!

I first met the Redwoods in 81 and I keep returning to them.
They are some of the most amazing living things on earth.
