The MS 260 isn't a bad saw, it isn't a great saw. It has more low end for heavy handed users, like myself, than the 346xp has, it's not a bad weight, considering the newer versions out. They also respond very well to mods! I wont talk you out of one, but I think there are better options out...

IMHO the new Stihl's are just bloated pigs! No where near the power they used to have and gained weight. Not many are happy with the new versions. Husky has really kicked their butts with the auto tune system. Granted they had some teething problems, but seem to have been quick to jump on them...
