Very cool. How do you suspect the poly will hold up?

Your just going to use the polymax? I was talking about supplementing the aluminum with the pmax. You'll probably have to add a bunch more vertical supports on your box so it doesn't bust out. Or be thrifty and maintain the bling and do ali on the sides and pmax the rest.

I wouldn't go crazy with the thickness, personally. I would probably run the thinnest, thinking about how well my 1/8" aluminum held up.

Farmtek sells a plastic I am going to line my next box 2-3' up the sides with. It's not an issue now, but if you go all aluminum down the sides it will get dented. With the mason tub like ours you have a foot, foot and a half of damage support. Then again I only have probably three dents over...

My first one was steel with ali frame. The new one is all ali. You'd be surprised how heavy that Ford is empty, it doesn't leave much for legal payload with the mason dump. I vote welded aluminum frame, sides stuck on the inside with a tape made by 3M to attach box truck and trailer sides...
